Marathon des Sables 2003
Olly finished in the top 35% of the 750 strong field of the 18th edition of this spectacular ultra–distance footrace across 250 miles of the Sahara desert – carrying all supplies & equipment for the race except for water – and of course carrying his lucky spade! The race route passed through some of the highest dunes in the Sahara.
